ABOUT Julie
I have been decorating since the age of eleven when I began many Saturday mornings with a ritual of rearranging my bedroom furniture and color-coding the contents of my closet. I have deeply fond memories of my mother allowing me the freedom to choose my fabrics, wallpaper and paint colors for my room and helping her in the same way for other rooms of my childhood home. From those early days, I expanded my fascination with color and texture through art classes and eventually graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Art degree.
Upon marrying and moving to New York City, I worked in television and then began motherhood with my two precious daughters. My husband has long worked in the luxury goods industry in a global capacity, and through that our family has had the incredible fortune to travel and live in many places domestically and internationally. Each relocation provided exciting new decorating opportunities and chances to learn of and be influenced by local cultural design aesthetics. I initially cut my teeth in design by lovingly decorating the homes of family and friends.
In 2020, I turned my hobby into a career by creating my own boutique design studio in New York City while completing the BID Program at the New York School of Interior Design. Having recently returned to my beloved hometown of St Louis, I enjoy working on projects in both cities.

My specialty is discovering new brands and creative works that take my clients’ interiors from simply gorgeous to one-of-a-kind. This type of interior styling requires the heart of a hunter and, that I am! Having lived in the ultimate playground of interior design, New York City, I use my curated list of vintage stores, consignment shops, flea markets and endless design centers to elevate spaces to delight. Whether your goal is to fill an empty room or get input and guidance for a DIY project, I will work with you in a collaborative spirit to reveal your style and character.

Discovery Session
FREE of charge
A 30-minute phone conversation with Julie to discuss your design needs and ideas. A questionnaire will be submitted prior to the session.
Interior Design Consultation
TWO HOUR MAXIMUM
After completing a Discovery Session, Julie will walk your home with you, live or virtually, while asking questions, taking photos and making notes. At the end of this first consultation, Julie will discuss next steps and ask how you would like to move forward. A PDF file synopsis of this meeting will be emailed to you in case you desire a DIY project.
FULL-SERVICE DESIGN
Ready to make your house into a home? Julie will give your spaces a soul that reflects your spirit and story by updating everything from floor to ceiling.
